Critical Review of the First Half 2025 production at “Navoiyuran” State Enterprise and Determination of Priority Tasks
Today, on July 8, an extended video conference meeting was held at the “Navoiuran” State Enterprise chaired by General Director Jamal Fayzullayev. The meeting focused on the results of the enterprise’s performance for the first half of 2025 and the key tasks related to achieving the target indicators set for the year. The event was attended by deputy general directors, advisors to the general director, directors, and heads and specialists of departments, divisions, services, and structural units.
The meeting began with a review of the enterprise’s recent major achievements. In particular, attention was drawn to the successful placement of five-year Eurobonds worth USD 300 million with a 6.70% coupon rate and the launch of large-scale efforts to open a representative office in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The main focus of the meeting was to analyze the real situation behind the figures, openly discuss existing problems, and define concrete measures for their resolution. In his speech, the General Director critically pointed out that certain goals had not been achieved in specific areas and openly highlighted the shortcomings. He issued relevant instructions to enhance responsibility and ensure personal accountability.
Subsequently, discussions were held on measures being taken to increase uranium production volumes by the end of 2025. Chief Engineer A. Saparov provided a detailed report on the practical steps and plans in this area, emphasizing the importance of simultaneously reducing production costs. Based on suggestions and opinions expressed, priority tasks were outlined.
During the discussion of existing production challenges, heads of structural divisions also participated, sharing information on shortcomings, corrective measures, and efforts to boost production output. The General Director issued specific and strict instructions for each identified issue, stating that their execution would be monitored personally.
Additional reports were presented on related directions. Director of Procurement L. Hamidov reported on the procurement of essential material resources for the enterprise, while the Head of the Occupational Safety and Emergency Management Department, S. Nurnazarov, provided an update on the current level of safety measures and ongoing work in that field.
At the conclusion of the meeting, new tasks and priority directions for 2025 were identified for all units of the enterprise. These included increasing production volumes, especially in drilling operations, ensuring the full implementation of investment and export plans, expanding geological exploration activities, securing the delivery of drilling equipment, improving the qualifications of newly hired personnel, and enhancing both financial and production efficiency.
It was emphasized that the timely and high-quality implementation of the outlined measures would serve as a solid foundation for the enterprise’s sustainable development in the second half of the year and full achievement of the target indicators. The meeting was held in a critical tone, with clear and specific tasks assigned to each manager and specialist.
