“General Director’s Cup” Tournament Concludes

As you may know, the “General Director’s Cup” football tournament kicked off on April 28. A total of 18 teams, composed of employees from the central office and structural divisions of “Navoiuran” State Company, competed in the tournament.

The tournament was full of exciting and intense matches, with each team proudly representing their respective departments.

As in any competition, there were winners and those who fell short — the strongest teams were ultimately determined.

According to the final decision of the panel of referees, the team from the 3rd Geotechnological Mine of the “Zafarobod” Mining Administration secured 1st place, having earned the highest total of 48 points and scoring 53 goals throughout the tournament.

An award ceremony for the winners of the “General Director’s Cup” tournament was held in the town of Zafarobod. The event was attended by Davrbek Temirov, Chairman of the United Trade Union Committee No. 6 of “Navoiuran” SC, Otabek Ruziyev, Director of the “Zafarobod” Mining Administration, along with company officials, local community leaders, and youth representatives.

The company’s leadership expressed its gratitude to all athletes, their coaches, referees, and other organizers for their active participation and valuable contribution to the promotion of sports.

Following the speeches, the champion team was ceremoniously awarded the tournament cup and a certificate for a cash prize. The teams from the 1st and 4th Geotechnological Mines of the “Zafarobod” Mining Administration, who also placed in the top three, received cash prize certificates as well.

In addition, players were recognized with special statuettes and commemorative gifts in the categories of “Best Player,” “Top Scorer,” and “Best Goalkeeper.”
