ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE

Based on the decision No. 243 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 23, 2006, “On the improvement of the accreditation procedure for representatives of mass media in the presence of state authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” organizational work is being carried out by the ministry to accredit journalists. Mass media that wish to accredit their journalists with SOE “Navoiyuran” can do so in accordance with the procedure specified in the mentioned decision.

The required information includes:

• The name and type of the mass media;
• Specialization;
• Distribution area;
• Email address;
• Editorial office phone and fax numbers;
• The last name, first name, and patronymic of the journalists proposed for accreditation.

Information should be provided along with copies of the journalists’ technical equipment necessary for performing their professional duties, their professional status, passport, diploma copies, email address, phone and fax numbers, and four photos in the specified format.

The submitted request will be reviewed by the Information Service of the society in the prescribed manner.
