The event was attended by the First Deputy General Director of the enterprise – Chief Engineer A. Saparov, General Director of Lavin Solution Lab Ltd (Russia) Dmitry Zhavoronkov, Director of Occupational Safety and Sustainable Development S. Nurnazarov, engineering and technical specialists responsible for occupational safety and technical security, the management of the Uranium Production Plant, representatives of the Innovation Development Department, the Head of the Department Operational Efficiency Improvement and representatives from the “Zafarabad” mining management.
During the meeting, a presentation of the results of implementing the “Lean Production: Workplace Organization (5S)” system was introduced. This system aims to improve production processes, optimize the workplace, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.
The presentation covered key aspects of workplace environment and safety management. It outlined requirements for the occupational safety and security management system, focusing on creating safe working conditions for employees, minimizing threats to their health and safety, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
The implementation of the 5S standard includes elements such as “Sorting (Seiri),” “Systematization (Seiton),” “Shine (Seiso),” “Standardization (Seiketsu),” and “Self-Discipline (Shitsuke).”
