MODERNIZATION OF EQUIPMENT IN THE REPAIR AND MECHANICAL WORKSHOP ENTERS A NEW STAGE
Comprehensive modernization of equipment and devices, expansion of section services, as well as construction and landscaping works are being actively carried out at the Repair and Mechanical Workshop of the “Zafarobod” mining administration.
As a result, the quality and quantity of services such as polyethylene recycling, manufacturing of devices necessary for geotechnological wells, repair of various types of pump units, maintenance of mobile compressor equipment, repair of synchronic electric motors, production and repair of large-capacity containers, installation and technical servicing of cooling equipment, and repair of drilling rig machinery and equipment have significantly improved.
In particular, since the beginning of 2025, the workshop has been equipped with 2 coil-winding machines, a heating furnace capable of reaching 200 degrees, a test bench for ZSUDJ-50kVa/20kV electric motors, a test stand for repaired electric motors of the ZSDJ-U brand, a rotor balancing bench for H30UBQ11y-32×3200 type electric motors, an inductive voltage regulator of TSJA 500kW brand, a Z 30/100 hydraulic drilling machine, a V 5050 vertical grinding machine, a NA 4136 hammering machine, a KK-10-16/H11.5 A5 gantry crane, a Q11y-32×3200 guillotine machine, a U 41-100t press machine, and a JQ25-160t punching press.
Currently, nearly 300 workers and staff are employed in the workshop. By the end of 2024, 535 types of products were manufactured. It is planned to increase both the variety and volume of products by 20% in the current year. In addition, within the framework of the localization program, products worth 12 billion 380 million UZS were produced in the first quarter of 2025. The forecast was fulfilled at 101.5%, and the growth rate reached 141.2% compared to the same period last year.
The workshop contributes to easing the operations of the “Navoiuran” SE divisions by carrying out the repair of technological equipment, production of spare parts and metal structures, as well as repair and installation works.
Ultimately, the quality of service in the workshop has significantly improved, and better working conditions have been created for the employees. Going forward, practical measures are being taken to further expand the scope of work, increase production volume, and diversify localized products in this workshop.
