Main business units:
● Uchkuduk production unit, located in the northern part of Navoi region;
● Zafarabad mining administration, located in Navoi and Bukhara regions;
● Production unit Nurabad, located in the Samarkand region;
● Uranium production plant are located in Navoi, Navoi region.

The main goal of creating the Navoiyuran State Enterprise is the extraction of natural uranium in the Kyzylkum region of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the export of uranium oxide.
The development of uranium deposits in the Central Kyzylkum region began in 1958. The Uchkuduk deposit was the first to be mined using the open-pit underground mining method. As a result of further development of the industry, the method of underground borehole leaching was introduced in hydrogenous sandstone deposits. Thus, since 1994, all uranium mined in the Republic of Uzbekistan has been extracted using underground borehole leaching. Currently, the Enterprise is involved in the development of 18 uranium deposits and the development of 4 more deposits is planned for 2022–2026.
SE “Navoiyuran” is the only producer of natural uranium in the Republic of Uzbekistan and is one of the largest uranium producers in the world. At the same time, the produced raw materials are not used in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and are fully exported abroad to large processing companies in the world.
Today, the main confirmed, estimated and predicted uranium reserves are concentrated in the Central Kyzylkum and Ziyavutdin-Zirabulak regions. The existing uranium mineral resource base includes reserves that can ensure stable uranium production by underground borehole leaching for decades.
A stable increase in uranium prices makes it possible to begin the development of unconventional deposits contained in ancient bedrock and rich in a complex of rare earth elements in addition to uranium.
The Republic of Uzbekistan is a member of the World Nuclear Association “International Atomic Energy Agency” (hereinafter referred to as “IAEA”), and in this regard, the State Enterprise “Navoiyuran” fulfills its obligations under the state agreement. Currently, the Company supplies the finished product in the form of uranium oxide to such corporations as Itochu (Japan), Marubeni (Japan), Cameco (Canada), Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. (Republic of Korea), CGNPC Uranium Resources Co. Ltd. (People’s Republic of China).
Main activities of the Enterprise:
● extraction of natural uranium and its processing to U3O8 oxide;
● export sales of uranium oxide U3O8;
● associated extraction of rhenium from underground leaching solutions with the production of finished products of ammonium perrhenate NH4ReO4 grade AR-0;
● production of sulfuric acid for own needs and enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
● production of pipe products from polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride for the needs of the Enterprise and
JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant.
