Navoiyuran State Enterprise Joins the United Nations Global Compact
Navoiyuran State Enterprise has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, reaffirming its commitment to integrating international principles on human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption into its business operations.
By joining the Global Compact, Navoiyuran becomes part of a global network of over 24,000 companies working together to advance sustainable and responsible business practices. This step underscores the company’s strategic focus on transparency, ethical governance, and environmental responsibility.
The UN Global Compact unites businesses that align their strategies and operations with ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
Through this membership, Navoiyuran reinforces its dedication to upholding these principles and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Uzbekistan and beyond.
As a participant in the UN Global Compact, Navoiyuran will annually submit its Communication on Progress (CoP) report — a comprehensive disclosure of its actions and progress in implementing the Ten Principles.
The company also plans to engage actively in UNGC global and regional programs, strengthening its contribution to sustainable global development.
