SE “Navoiyuran” and “Cauldron Energy” to cooperate in development of“Yanrey Uranium Project”.
Navoiyuran State Enterprise has entered into a partnership with Cauldron Energy to advance development of the “Yanrey Uranium Project in Western Australia.
The agreement marks a major step in Navoiyuran’s strategy to expand its global footprint. Already the world’s fifth-largest uranium producer, the company is moving beyond Central Asia to strengthen its role in international uranium mining & supply chains.
The cooperation builds on groundwork by Navoiyuran’s International projects office, which earlier this year presented the company’s profile at the World Nuclear Fuel Market (WNFM) Conference in Sydney 2-5 June 2025. During the event, the Uzbek enterprise established new ties with industry stakeholders including Heathgate Resources, Boss Energy, Alligator Energy and the Australian Mining Council.
Executives confirmed that “Navoiyuran” and “Cauldron” have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), setting the stage for technical collaboration and joint evaluation of Yanrey’s potential as an in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium project.
By combining the partnership between Cauldron Energy of Australia the project pipeline with six decades of mining experience of SE “Navoiyuran” positions the “Yanrey” as a contender to contribute the global supply of nuclear fuel.
