State Enterprise “Navoiyuran” Receives ESG Rating
The State Enterprise “Navoiyuran” is pleased to announce that, based on the results of an international assessment conducted by the rating agency Sustainable Fitch, the company has been assigned an ESG rating of level “3” with a final score of 55 points.
This rating confirms the company’s commitment to the principles of responsible governance, sustainable development, and transparency.
In its report, Sustainable Fitch positively highlighted the phased implementation of the sustainable development strategy at “Navoiyuran,” as well as strict adherence to national and international standards.
Particular emphasis was placed on the enterprise’s environmental policy, the transparency of key performance indicators, and the absence of environmental incidents in recent years. The management of radioactive waste is carried out in full compliance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Radiation Safety,” under the supervision of the Ministry of Health.
In the social sphere, the agency highly praised the company’s internal policies, openness of information, and the absence of recorded social incidents in recent years, which indicates a commitment to ensuring safe and equitable working conditions for employees.
Regarding corporate governance, the report positively noted compliance with both national and international practices, including the separation of powers between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the General Director, which contributes to balance and accountability in the enterprise’s management.
The ESG rating received confirms that the State Enterprise “Navoiyuran” holds a worthy position among reliable and sustainably developing companies, making a significant contribution to achieving the sustainable development goals of the New Uzbekistan.
