The Minister has introduced with the work and Projects under implementation at the State Enterprise “Navoiyuran”

The Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, B. Islamov, who is on a business trip to the Navoi region, visited the state enterprise “Navoiuran” production site and facilities.

The minister been acquainted and reported with the activities of the newly established Situations Center at the enterprise and inspected a new calcination furnace installed at the uranium plant, aimed at expanding production capacity.

It was emphasized that, within the framework of the localization program, the state enterprise “Navoiuran” must pay serious attention to the quality of products at enterprises producing drilling equipment and to the timely delivery of such equipment. Instructions were given regarding the further expansion of production capacity, as well as the implementation of new projects aimed at reducing energy consumption.

During the working trip to the Navoi region, the Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, B. Islamov, also reviewed the work being carried out in the settlement of Zafarabad, where employees of the “Zafarabad” mine management department of “Navoiuran” reside.

The working group led by the minister inspected the progress of exploration activities aimed at identifying new promising uranium deposits and increasing reserves in cooperation with the State Institution “Uzbekhydrogeology” and “Navoiuran” at the Aulbek site in the Kanimekh district.

Following a presentation on the progress of geological exploration and pilot industrial operations for the extraction of uranium reserves at the “Kyzylkog” pilot field of the “Uchkuduk” production site in the Tomdi district, instructions were given to complete geological exploration at the deposit within a short period and submit the data to the State Commission for Mineral Reserves.

Additionally, during the visit, the issue of expanding the capacity of the sulfuric acid production plant of the state enterprise “Navoiuran” was discussed.
