Focus on Worker Safety

On May 14 of this year, a special tactical training exercise was conducted at the motor transport site of the 1st Geotechnological Mine of the “Zafarobod” Mining Administration, in cooperation with the Emergency Situations Service of “Navoiuran” State Company and the Emergency Situations Department of Konimex District.

This event was aimed at implementing the order of the Governor of Navoi Region – Head of Civil Protection, dated January 23, 2025, titled “On the Protection of Employees and Territories from Emergency Situations, Ensuring Civil Protection and Fire Safety.”

The special tactical training, themed “Eliminating man-made emergencies (building damage and fires) caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes — coordinated actions between facility management, civil protection units, and the relevant services of the state emergency response system in Konimex District,” involved employees of the site.

At the conclusion of the training, the civil protection units of the 1st Geotechnological Mine of the “Zafarobod” Mining Administration of “Navoiuran” State Company were evaluated as “Ready” to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them.
